Spas Wish List 2013 – Part 1

We’ve all got a wish list or bucket list of things we’d like to do or see, and my Spa Wish List is no different.


I visited and reviewed several spas last year but there are still a few that I’d love to experience, and have made a Spa Wish List for 2013.

  What makes Oasis Spa so special?

1. Spectacularly beautiful spa

2. Highly trained therapists & medical doctor for aesthetic & non surgical treatments

3. Super talented and friendly therapists who pay meticulous attention to individual’s needs

How does the One & Only stand out from the crowd?

 1. My past experience of One & Only resorts means that this is bound to be of superior quality and service

2. Just looking at the images makes me feel like I am on holiday in some exotic location – oh wait we live in Cape Town – we are lucky indeed.

3. I’m itching to indulge in their Relaxation Suite – 6 loungers and health station with homemade nutritious snacks, dried fruit, smoothies and herbal teas

4. They also have separate male and female Thermal Suites each including: Aroma-Steam Room and Sauna, Vitality Pool, a warm water pool with stimulating bubble jets & Ice Fountain to cool the body and promote circulation

1. The hotel is an absolute dream and the staff are super friendly.

2. Relaxation area where you can enjoy a magazine, some dried fruit and a herbal tea.

3. Kiddies Spa (ages 7-11 yrs) – will have to take my goddaughters with me one day.

4. Amazing Spa Packages to suit anyone’s needs.

1. It’s set in the most beautiful gardens of the Mount Nelson – close to home!

2. They have a children’s club to look after your kids at no extra charge!

3. You can enjoy their sauna, steam bath and plunge pool or have tea in the conservatory.
