I have been wanting to try out the Africology products for a long time now, intrigued by their amazing scents and natural ingredients. The Maslow Hotel in Sandton, cleverly renamed for Maslow’s hierarchy of needs of which shelter is primary, has recently been renovated and looks really amazing, as does the Africology Spa. Walking into the spa, the lovely aromas already start to relax the body and mind.   Mpho, my therapist leads me to the changing room where I’m given the fluffiest slippers ever and a key to a locker. I don my paper panties and step into the rasoul chamber.   I was invited to experience D’vines Signature Ritual – a 2h30 pampering session which includes a revitalising foot soak, an Indian Head Massage, a full body polish, a steam room session and ends off with a full body massage.   This was my first visit to D’Vine and once again I ventured out to the Northern Suburbs on a very wet and gloomy day. I’ve come to enjoy my longish drives out to different Spas in and around Cape Town, but these winter downpours are not fun to navigate.   Arriving at D’Vine, I was surprised by how big the spa is.
